Cute Cloisonne Cats

These small cloisonné cats are made in China and are perfect gifts for cat lovers who don’t have much space in their homes. Cloisonné originated in The Middle East but has been produced most in China. The metal objects are often made out of brass. Then metal wire is used to make intricate designs and is fired onto the metal vessel. After that, coloured enamel is put into the wired sections and the vessel is fired again. The enamel may be placed again in the sections and fired once more. Finally, the enamel is polished to a smooth fine finish. If these items seem to be expensive, you can understand why.
